Sky is the Limit!!

Hello Gals.....

I'm here with my last minute madness of work share......I played with lots of texutres and mediums and happy the way it turned out to be.

I have worked on 8x8 canvas, added cut chipboards randomly for bricks, layered with tissue paper, added on textures from Itsy Bitsy - Little birdie - Grainy texutre paste, Fiber paste, Embossing paste - Avagado and Warm Cinnamon for the pops and also a stoney feel. Rubbed with Finnabair Waxes, heat embossed the window & Pearl hanging chipies with Lindy's EP - Midnight Teal, Black, White and Clearly clear EP's, Prima mini ART Stones, Lace, Stary melange from Itsy Bitsy store, finally added some grass and flowers from my stash.Chippies used are from Mudra and Dusty Attic. Dry brushed with white gesso for highlights.

I would be sharing this LO with

This title inspired me to play along this challenge as the sky being my focal point. And any of us would love a stary shiney blue sky and this is my interpretation of the same. Gazing sky through your window or from your balcony gives us all a kind of relief and its such a stress buster when you put your head up and just gaze into those tiney tiny stars sparkling over your head......I would love that it is  vastness to bring humbleness and an eternal space to brign gratitude for the coziness of home. No matter years that have passed, Leo Tolstoy saw each night sky as a fresh gift given from above. It was this moment that anyone who knew him would see his eyes smile and his breathing deepen just a little. For him this was UNIVERSE and we all love it. I hope this piece makes justice to this challenge gals.

I was inspired by the filigree wroth, the teal color of the feathers and sea, and also the magenta hues in the mood board and this is what I came up with for this months challenge.

Hope you guys like my work share.
Will be posting soon for the coming moth .......!!

Cheers guys!!

Memories-Bride & Groom!!

Hello Ladies.......

I'm back again to show off my new work for 13arts and we have a lovely pastel moodboard and this is my take on this month's challenge.

Click on the moodboard to have some lovely inspiration by our DT gals!!

I have used 12x10 canvas for this project. Materials used have been linked below.

I wanted to create a wedding theme as I was inspired by the textures, tassels, ballons, butterfly, the crackle wood textures in the mood board and hence came up with something like this. I have used 13 arts sprays and colors with gesso and crackle paste. I have added the focal pic with few diecuts and butterflies, doily from Prima, stamped with Prima texture stamps, Melange, Mesh tape for more texture. I did give all the embellishments in pastels and just made the background a bit more contrasting so that it uplifts my whole layout. Hope you guys like it.

Hope to join you guys soon with some more work share before the month ends.

Bee Shabby

Hello....

I was quite excited when I heard this lovely call for BeeShabby...though the terms are tough I have been admiring the posts on social media and have been following here.  I have very less take on shabby chich as I have limited access for stuff......hence I rarely have done more projects on shabby chich......else I would have created more work too.  I love your papers very much and have truly been waiting for a chance.

I sincerely believe that where you have will there is a way and I'm passionate about whatI create and do. I have been scrapbooking since 2yrs and have constantly been engaged in creativity and mixed media has been my interest. I have been creating altered art, scrapbook layout.....mixed media projects and have fairly had rewards for my works.

Smiling Buddha!!

Hello Ladies.......

I'm back with another work with a peaceful smiling Buddha. I hope you all like this.......worked on this project to highlight more textures....colorplay....3-dimensional effect.....and also avery bright project to share with you all. This is a fully loaded pic page ......with lots of details for you guys.

I have worked on a MDF window frame from TECS for this project. Lovely stuff from this store for your projects. I have used many Little Birdie products from ItsyBitsy store...with their newly launched texture pastes-Grainy Paste was given for the base work, later added more mixed media stones with some acrylic gel and have adhered it across the frame. Stuck some brick chipboard cutouts for wall effect, added moss, few ivy flourish chippies were heat embossed with Lindys EP - Drop Dead gorgeous green, Fiddle head fern green,Clearly clear EP, Lindy's sprays - Tibetan Poppy Teal, Bachelor Button Blue, added fairies from Creative embelishments which were also heat set with Lindys EP - Midnight Sapphire. I have added Little birdie - Embossing paste- avacado smoothie and have heat set it for more texture and to give a flowery effect on the grass, added flowers, leaves, fussy cut butterflies, melange from Little Birdie again, Prima Unicorn Spark for dry brushing, Prima Metallic Wax for the focal image which highlighted the face of Buddha, added Finnabair - rust effect paste - Red for rusty effects on metal holders and for final touches dry brushed with white gesso.

Sharing with

I was drawn by the moodboard with rusty effects, the face figurines, bottles....and feathers...so I have incorporated all the elements in the moodboard and have created this piece.

I loved the textures in the moodboard the sky, the flowers, the relaxation feel in the moodboard and Buddha is one such image which gives us all the inner peace at one glace of his smiling face and hence I created this piece with all the details in it

I have used the wooden window frame and highlighted Buddha as focal image of memory and the peace he brings in to each individual. So thought to capture this memorable face into one frame and shared this with this month's challenge.

Hope you guys like this little share of mine and do leave some love!!

Cheers!!
